For those of us older children in our Halloween costumes like a sexy plus size of Venus (moi!) dress or not … there are some basic safety tips that we can not ignore. Have fun, be safe.

Security lock – If you depend on the party, then it is better to know if a friend or companion, where you are, with whom (and not just “the vampire in the corner”), and for how long. If you hang in front of a game, then in a public place where you can see other people, just to be. If possible, are matched with someone on the person. Be clear about the limits of your confidence and your intuition: if something feels wrong, it probably is.

Drink Safety – Keep on your side, at all times. If you leave it, leave it. Get another one.

Call for help – a whistle, a fully charged cell phone, or just scream, shout, or scream to attract the attention of people around you. If you must, just as hard as you ever before.

Buds Security – Make a plan with a friend, neighbor or colleague who knows where you are and what to do if you need help, or who keep an eye on you if you need to go together. Give them a courtesy call later to let them know that you are always safe.

In a car? – Travel Safe Travel sober. There is more police to check Halloween, which would be normally. Do not drink and drive. Do not get into the car of someone who has been drinking – call a taxi instead. If you think you can drive to, you are not. First house is not a reason drunk driving.

Have Fun – Do not let the possibility of bad things to distract you from running and fun Halloween!
